A MUSICAL REVUE
By Mike Arseneault
August 6- 8 2009
This musical looks into how laughter, resilience and an actor's passion can carry them through the tortured process of auditioning. The show is constructed to recognize some of the greatest songs ever written for musical theatre and not often performed. It's also a tribute to the work of many celebrated composers and lyricists.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
By Edward Albee
August 27-30 2009
When middle-aged couple George and Martha return home drunk and quarrelsome from a college faculty party at two a.m., with the new young, handsome professor Nick and his mousy wife Honey close on their heels for a nightcap, a long night of malicious games, insults, humiliations, betrayals, painful confrontations and savage witticisms ensues. The secrets of both couples are laid bare and illusions are viciously exposed. When Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? first debuted in 1961, audiences and critics alike could not get enough of Edward Albee’s masterful darkly comedic play. Don’t miss it!
